Piecarté supports a major sustainability project with its business model – the Eden Reforestation Project.

In collaboration with the Eden Reforestation Project and GoodApi, we are working to ensure the planting of mangrove trees in Madagascar. The project helps restore natural habitats, improves the condition of coral reefs, and contributes to combating climate change. In addition, the project supports the livelihoods of the local population by creating jobs.

Why trees?

Trees are the most economical and efficient way to sequester carbon dioxide. It is estimated that one-third of all emissions from fossil fuels are absorbed by our forests. However, the natural cycle of our planet is threatened by the loss of forests through deforestation and wildfires. Together, we want to play a part in revitalizing Earth's ecosystems and reforesting the planet. The project has already planted and protected over 830 million trees and provides fair wages for more than 11,500 people.
